Shirley A. Warren
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shirley Anne Warren, age 88, of Joliet, Illinois, who entered eternal rest on October 31, 2025.
Shirley was the beloved wife of Larry G. Warren for 66 wonderful years. Together they built a beautiful life, creating countless memories and a loving family.
She was the devoted mother of Dan (Debra) Warren and Diane (John) Schoon, and the cherished "Nonnie" to her nine grandchildren: Sam Warren, Jacki (Jacob) Bullard, Ben Warren, Jake (Alexa Herbers) Warren, Max (Emma) Warren, Kelly (Tony) Hurst, Nick (Cara) Schoon, Katy Schoon, and Jared Schoon. She was also the proud great-grandmother of eight: Lucas, Logan, Liam, Benji, Connor, Isla, Lyla, and Arleigh. She will also be deeply missed by her brother, Phillip Neeves, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Among her family's most treasured memories are the many hours spent gathered around the table, sharing good food, laughter, and games. It was there that Shirley's warmth and joy shined brightest.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, Shirley dedicated her life to her family and to creating a home filled with love. She enjoyed dancing, singing, and golfing with Larry. She was an enthusiastic Bridge player, who was admired and loved by her many friends.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mildred Neeves; her sister, Sr. Mary Ellen Neeves, OSU; and her brothers, Billie Jean and Larry Neeves.
Shirley will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her and will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We find comfort in knowing that, through her faith, she is rejoicing with her Savior in Heaven.
