Deacon Lamont & Sister Shannon on behalf of my husband Allen D. Dabney, Sr. & myself (Tara W. Dabney) we would like to extend our hearfelt love for you & Sister Shannon during the loss of your Mother. You both are a lovely couple. I pray that during this time you will allow yourselves to grieve not as a man without hope but that you will be allowed to miss your Mom. Next to the loss of a spouse it is one of the greatest losses you will experience. I pray that during this time that you will allow the Lord & your wife to comfort you. And that through this loss you will be inspired to be the man that I am certain your Mother is proud of & has raised you to be. Know that Allen & I are here for you if you should need us. And though the Word Church may not be quick to admit it.....They love you too (smile)!

I want to express my sympathy at your loss. I got to know Shirley when I worked with activities for a while at Trinity. I would always visit whenever I got the opportunity to stop by. She will be greatly missed by all, especially her Trinity family.

May the love god has for you daily encourage you during this time. Shirley and I began our friendship at Blackwell Elementary School. She lived on 10th street and I lived on Everett Street. We learned, played and worship the Lord together. She was a lifetime friend and will be missed by many. If there is anything I can do for the family please contact me.

sorry for your loss we will miss shirley smiles, laughs may god substain the family. he will be a mother for the motherless, and a father for the fatherless. shirley loved her family. she often talked about her sister and children.
