What a smile! So bright, so genuine! So Shirley! I worked with her at EOP, at Ernie Davis Comm Center and she at City Court.
Shirley had such a nice way of reaching out to help others. When she believed, she was excited and all in. You believed because she believed.
She got things done and she got people 2nd and sometimes third chances.
For all she made happen behind the scenes- and it was a lot- I never once saw her seek special reward or recognition. I´m sure the good Lord has seen her good deeds and has rewarded her with her well deserved Angel Wings so she can continue to see the world even better than before.

She was an inspiration to me every time I talked to her and everyone Oak Street Loved her.

I´m so sorry for your loss. Shirley was always a joy to see & talk with and brought a ray of sunshine to my day. Her death is certainly a loss to our community and I know her family will miss her deeply. God bless.

My deepest condolences

My colleague on the City Council for four years ..She sat next to me all that time .I loved her dearly .I will never forget her smile and kind heart ..We just lost one of the finest people our great City has ever seen.Rip dear lady.
