Shirley A. Wooten, 82 of Thornton, died Saturday, December 20, 2025 in Camden. She was born May 3, 1943 in Bearden to the late Otis Pate and Vera Hearnsberger Watt. She was also preceded in death by her husband Jimmy R. Wooten, her daughter Shirley Kay Taylor, her son-in-law Dean Taylor, her three sisters, and one brother.
She is survived by her daughter, Jimmie Sisson and husband Wilson of Hampton; five grandchildren: James (Amy) Estes of Hampton, David (Erin) Estes of Fordyce, Angela (John) Atchley of Camden, Deana (Scott) Bond of Sheridan, Raymond Taylor of Fordyce; and several great and great-great grandchildren.
