Sid taught me no matter who you are and what your title is at work, you treat people equally. As a executive at Salesforce, in my two years interaction with him, I saw that he always treated people with kindness, always thinking how he can help others. He always projected calm and gratitude. He had the biggest smile and always thinking how he can elevate his team and the people surround him.
He always talked fondly about his family and as a person with small children, he gave me hope that there is balance in life between work and home and that family is number one.
You might be not on this earth anymore, but your memory will live forever amongst us, Sid.

Long lunch in June at Foxtail, Chicago. Meeting for the 1st time, Sid offered to pick me up at the airport. We spent hours talking about life then onto business. Sid reminded me to 'always eat the cake', so we shared a slice of cake as we bragged about our young adult kids. I'll never forget the kindness, wisdom, love and appreciation for life Sid shared. Sid - you will ALWAYS be remembered fondly by many as we grapple with why you left too soon.

Gone too soon brother! Sukhi just broke the news to me! Still cant believe it is true! My fondest memory of you is with how much ease you could play any song on the keyboard! I guess God calls people with good heart too soon! Life is hard! Strength to your family!

I am in state of disbelief and shock on hearing this devastating news! Deepest condolences to Nidhi, Simran, Arnav and entire Bansal and Jain family! Sid has left a huge void in lives of all those who knew him. I still remember the first time we met during summer of 96 in Manipal, and instantly became friends with his innocent smile and warm heart. We become brothers!!! When I was coming to America he put my mind to ease and extended his apartment for living without hesitation. I am obliged for forever for that kind and sweet gesture. Through these past 3 decades we always stayed in touch, even though we didn´t talk regularly but always checked up on each other. God has taken a good soul with him, but it´s too early and too soon. RIP brother! I will always miss you!

Sid and I were part of a broader team at Salesforce and worked together regularly until our paths went in different directions. Then one day we ran into each other in a hotel gym in a city we both traveled to for work. We were able to get caught up and discussed his new workout routine. This strange coincidence happened year after year, running into each other in random cities in hotel gyms while traveling for work. We would greet each other with a laugh, hug, and acknowledgment that anytime we went to a hotel gym, we would see each other and get caught up. I laugh and cry thinking about this strange memory and will always look for him when in hotel gyms in the future...
RIP my friend
