Sidney Clark Obituary
Mr. Clark was born January 22, 1934, in Granville County, to the late Fenton Drewey Clark and Bettie Mildred Glascock Clark. He served in the United States Army, and later worked in textile management. Sidney was a retired member of the Anson County Rescue Squad and District Governor of 31.0 of the Lions Club. He was also a long-time member of the First Baptist Church in Wadesboro.
He is survived by his wife, Edith Smith Clark of the home; sons, Russell Clark (Dee) of Lincolnton, and Darryl Clark of Melbourne, FL; daughter, Vickie C. Young (Paul) of Banner Elk NC; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Oxford, North Carolina.
Memorial donations may be made to the Lions Club of Wadesboro, or the Friends of Anson County Animal Shelter, 7257 US Highway 74, Polkton, NC 28135.
Warlick Funeral Home is serving the Clark family.

We just heard of Sid´s passing and will be keeping Edith and the family in our prayers. I enjoyed talking to Sid and hearing about him feeding his lake fish bread so he could see them up close daily! What a great gentleman that will be missed

Mrs. Edith and family - We are so very sorry to hear of Mr. Sid’s passing. We pray God will give you strength and courage in the days ahead and bring you peace knowing Mr. Sid is no longer suffering. Mr. Sid was such a kind soul and so very thoughtful of others. We miss you both since you moved from Wadesboro and continue to hold you close in our hearts.
