Syd III may have been my last surviving McVoy cousin. I remember him vollying with me in Winnetka using the throat of a racket with no strings. He was a good man and an elegant gentleman. James Conger Jr. son of Jean Dor McVoy.

So sorry to hear that Sid passed. He was a good friend for many years. He introduced me to Court Tennis, and was alway a gentleman. He will be missed.

Sid will be missed on the tennis court at the National Tennis Club. His merry demeanor was always welcome. Thanks for many great games, Sid.

I do not have a memory but often heard the name Sid Gotham growing up...I am the daughter of Janet Chartier O'Hanley & Alexander Leys O'Hanley of Newport, RI ... I often heard the name either from my Grandfather... or them? I can not recall... but I wanted to tell you what a handsome photo. I am certain his presence was a great one and will be very missed. xoxo
