Silviano Candelaria Jr., age 84, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on March 6, 2026. Silviano is survived by his wife of fifty eight years, Frances Candelaria; children, daughter,Antionette Oldfield and son Silviano Candelaria lll; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brothers, Carl Candelaria and Richard Candelaria; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Silviano served his country proudly and retired from the United States Navy. Visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church 5310 Claremont NE with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00a.m. Interment will follow the services at the Santa Fe National Cemetery 501 N. Guadalupe St. in Santa Fe, New Mexico at 1:00p.m. where he will be laid to rest with full military honors. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Oldfield, Tristan Oldfield, Alec Candelaria, Demetrio Candelaria Jr., Edward Candelaria and Marcos Candelaria.
