Simon C Padron Jr.

Simon C. Padron, Jr., 76, of Mathis, Texas, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026. Simon was born in Crosbyton, Texas, on November 9, 1949, to Simon and Evangelia C. Padron Sr. He worked as a waiter. Simon was a beloved son, brother, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Simon was preceded in death by his parents, Simon and Evangelina C. Padron Sr.; his brothers, Matthew and Enrique Padron; and his sister, Lugarda Preciado.

Simon is survived by his siblings, Juan (Yolanda) Padron, Fabina (Arturo) Sanchez, Cornelio Padron, Bartholomew (Martina) Padron, Domingo (Marissa) Padron, Louise (Ronnie) Lail. Simon is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, February 6, 2026, beginning with a Visitation from 9:00am - 10:30am. The Holy Rosary will be recited at 10:30am and the Funeral Mass will be held by Father Francis Medanki at 11:00am.
