Simon was a sweet man, and always stood outside and talked to my husband while he was working outside (we live next door). Many times my husband went over and helped Simon with things he couldn´t quite do on his own anymore.
I have, also, heard many stories from my family (mostly my Grandpa, he loved to tell stories) on how hard of a worker Simon was when he worked with my Grandpa Jim, and the other McHams at McHam Dirt Contracting out of Sundown. Even now, he was always working hard on something outside.
Simon will be missed, and we will miss seeing him sitting outside every morning and evening and waving at us.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Simon´s family in the coming days and weeks.
