Simona Martinez Esquibel, 84, was born on October 8, 1940, in Pearsall, Texas, and peacefully entered eternal rest on February 27, 2025, in Houston, Texas. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Simona's loving presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, Bonifacio Esquibel; her sons, Jesse Gonzalez, Stephen Gonzalez (Norma), Isaac Gonzalez (Tanya), Mark A. Gonzalez, and David J. Gonzalez (Lucy); her daughters, Mary Grace Calvit (Mike) and Corina Valerie Gonzalez; her brothers, Antonio Martinez and Rudy Trevino; as well as 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Simona's memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to share in her life, and she will be fondly remembered by all who loved her.
