In Loving Memory of Simone Jean
Simone, a devoted daughter of the Volcy family, was born and raised in Dame-Marie, in the Grand'Anse department of Haiti. She was the youngest of four children.
From her youth, Simone was known as a respectful and hardworking woman, devoted to her family and grounded in faith. She was raised in the Catholic tradition and, after emigrating to the United States, she became a steadfast Seventh-day Adventist. Her faith guided every aspect of her life, shaping her into a humble servant of God.
Simone was truly a people person - welcoming, kind, and full of warmth. Her gentle smile and generous heart made everyone feel valued and at home. Following her retirement, Simone continued a life of service-volunteering and supporting her community programs. Her life stood as a living testimony of resolute dedication, love, and perseverance.
On October 15, 2025, Simone was called home to rest with the Lord. She was preceded by her beloved parents- Noemi and Lovius; siblings- Elude, Lovius Jr. "Bobby", Olecyde; and son- Germain.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Diana; grandchildren Fabiola and Ethan; nieces and nephews- Adrian, Armel, Luisina, Nancy, Richelande, Saül, Stephanie, Velan, Velande, and Olex; and more family members and cherished friends.
Her light, faith, and legacy will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
