Sinh Vo Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Rundus Funeral Home & Crematory on Jan. 22, 2026.
Mr. Sinh Vo, 87, of Broomfield, CO, passed away on January 20th, 2026 at Northglenn Heights Assisted Living.

Mr. Vo was born on November 19th, 1938 in Long Huu, in Vinh Long province, Vietnam. He received a college degree in Vietnam, graduating with an accounting degree and worked as a tax auditor in Saigon. On June 2, 1962, he married Tuyet Tran, also a tax auditor at the same agency. In a couple of years, they welcomed their two beautiful sons, and again their daughter, a decade later. They left their war-torn country by boat and came to the US in 1979 to make a new life in Colorado. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned.

Mr. Vo was a social worker for the Department of Human Services for Boulder County for over 30 years until Broomfield became its own county, where he transferred to continue his social work in 2002. He worked as a translator and Eligibility Specialist, providing assistance to new immigrants and seniors. He became a pillar in the Asian and elderly community in the local area.

Mr. Vo was a passionate photographer, an avid listener of Vietnamese folk music, and a devoted tennis fan. He loved spending Sunday mornings listening to music while tending to the numerous orchids that he and his wife cultivated and photographing them in all possible angles and stages in their development. Then later, settling in for a good game of tennis on television. He was out-going, enjoyed the company of others, and loved going out to eat at Vietnamese restaurants, so much so that he became a regular to owners and staff.

Mr. Vo is survived by his children, Binh Vo (Diane), Minh Vo (Tam Pham), and Thanhnguyet Vo (Troy Paluska); his nephew, Danh Nguyen (Lan); his grandchildren, Arthur Vo, Alexander Vo, Andrew Vo, Patrick Vo; great nephew, Jonathan Nguyen; and great niece, Jacqueline Nguyen. He is predeceased by his wife, Tuyet Tran; and his parents Phuoc Hanh Vo and Thi Lai Huynh.

Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday, January 31st, 2026 at 11am at the Rundus Funeral Home & Crematory (1998 W 10th Ave, Broomfield, CO 80020), with Pastor James Johnson officiating.
