Sione Oinisati Tuuhetaufa, age 69, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025, in Taylorsville, Utah. Sione was born on November 3, 1955, in Tatakamotonga, Tonga, to Sosaia Tuuhetaufa and Lupe Lehauli. On February 19, 1990, he married the love of his life, Feofaaki Vea, and together they built a life filled with faith, family, and love.

Sione had a deep devotion to his faith and found great joy in reading his Bible and listening to sermons. He cherished time spent with his family and proudly cheered for his favorite NFL team, the Las Vegas Raiders.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Feofaaki; their children Sosai (Kulisitolo), Lupe (Moleni), Taniela, Fapuiaki (Tangiloto), Oinisati, Melepaea, and Loise (Prince); 12 treasured grandchildren; and his brother Taniela. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Pelenaise, and Melepaea.

A Family Service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. Bishop services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place following services at Memorial Redwood Cemetery at the same location.
