Smita was the cherished wife of Dr. Vipin Shah for a glorious 52 years. Their love story was one of deep commitment and mutual respect, providing a strong foundation for their family. Their bond was the cornerstone of their children's lives, and their undying love was a beacon of hope and inspiration for many.
She was a loving mother to her three children: Chirag Shah, who is married to Manisha, Mayur Shah, who is married to Rosie Espitia, and Ruchi Shah-Kansara. Smita's love for her children was infinite and unconditional, and she was a constant source of support and inspiration for them. Her caring nature and nurturing spirit were evident in the way she raised her children, instilling in them values of respect, kindness, and compassion.

Smita was the beloved daughter of the late Shantaben and Hiralal Shah and a dear sister to Ketan Shah, who is married to Raksha, Nimi Shah, the widow of the late Kanaiyalal, and Vishakha Shah, who is married to Dhimant. She was also a fond aunt to her many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.
Smita was a devoted social worker and homemaker. She dedicated her life to serving others and making a positive impact in her community.
