Wm. "Todd" Smithson, 62, formerly of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Friday, November 14, 2025, at Lake Side Terrace in Sabetha, Kansas.

Todd was born on March 22, 1963, in St. Joseph, Missouri to Marilyn Hook Singleton and Raymond William Smithson.

Todd graduated Helen Davis School and was baptized at the McCarthy Baptist Church of St. Joseph, Missouri. Todd had a passion for fishing and loving his family. Todd also competed in The Special Olympics receiving gold medals in swimming, diving and bowling.

He was preceded in death by his father Raymond Smithson, sister, Deborah Kleebach and brother-in-law, Neal Nold.

Survivors include Mother, Marilyn Singleton and the father who raised him, Larry Singleton.

Sisters, Theresa Cooper, Tracy Nold and Cindy Sampson (Kirk).

Brother, Lonnie Singleton (Toni).

Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service: 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 17, 2025.
At the Harman-Rohde Funeral Home in Wathena, Kansas.
Visitation: 10:00 A.M 1 hour prior to service at the funeral home.
Burial: Bellemont Cemetery, Wathena, Kansas.

Memorials: Lake Side Terrace Activity Fund, Sabetha, Kansas, Best Life Activity Fund, Seneca, Kansas or The Special Olympics.
