Sister Agnes Rose McNally, Sister of Notre Dame de Namur for 79 years, entered eternal life on November 6, 2025, at Notre Dame Long Term Care in Worcester, Massachusetts at the age of 97 years old. Sr. Agnes Rose was born in Philadelphia on August 8, 1928, to James and Anna (O'Hara) McNally and is the sister of the late Mary McGovern, Frank McNally, Joseph McNally, Gerard McNally, Eleanor McNally, James McNally, Anna Pimpinelli, Margaret Orthal, and John McNally. She is survived by her loving, supportive nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, and cousins.

Sister entered the Community of the Sisters of Notre Dame on August 11, 1946. During her 79 years in religious life, Sister Agnes Rose taught in several archdiocese schools, later becoming a special education teacher in DC, and then a professor at State University of New York in Geneseo. Other ministries where Sister served were in leadership positions in the Marriage Tribunal Office in Richmond, Virginia, the Chesapeake Province Administrative Team as well as Coordinator of the Family & Community Resource Center at Tench Tilghman School in Baltimore.

A Mass of Resurrection will be offered on Friday, November 14, at 11:15 a.m. with a 10:30 a.m. viewing at Our Lady of Victory Church, 4414 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21229, followed by a private interment at the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur's cemetery at Ilchester, Maryland.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, U.S. East-West Province, 351 Broadway, Everett, MA 02149 or online at: www.snddeneastwest.org.
