Sofia Bennett

Early Life and Family:
Sofia Principe Bennett was born on July 4, 1946 in Marinduque, Philippines to Primo and Honorata Principe. She grew up in Marinduque a province in the Philippines and graduated high school in Santa Cruz Institute. From an early age, she exhibited a passion for education. After high school, Sofia Principe Bennett went to University of the East Manila for her college degree. After that, she went to US to take her masteral degree.
Marriage and Family:
Sofia Principe Bennett married Gordon Bennett, and together they built a life full of happy moments and travel around US. The couple was not blessed with a child. She was a devoted wife who cherished every moment with her husband.
Career and Accomplishments:
Sofia Principe Bennett pursued a successful career in Teacher an educator and a librarian
Passions and Hobbies:
Outside of work, Sofia Principe Bennett had a deep passion for reading books and shopping, taking advantage on sales items. Sofia Principe Bennett was also actively involved in church organizations
Personality and Impact
Sofia Principe Bennett will be remembered for her kindness, religious, sense of humor, dedication. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Sofia is survived by her siblings, jimmy, precy, bernie, betty, mercy, jay, nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life:
A celebration/viewing of Sofia Principe Bennett will be held at Aulds Funeral on October 17, 5pm-7pm. Mass will be at St. John Friday October 18, 1:30pm. Family and friends are invited to gather and share memories. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery at Clarksdale Mississippi on October 19, 12 noon.
