Sofia Vera Cesmas

Sofia Vera Cesmas, 75 of Dade City, Florida passed away on August 4, 2025. She was born in Tuzantla, Michoacan, Mexico on September 30, 1949 to Severiano and Ninfa Vera. Sofia attended St. Anthony Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and was known to have a "Green Thumb" knitting, crocheting, and took pride in taking care of her family and her home. Sofia is survived by her children: Efren Garcia of Brooksville, Florida, Mireya Garcia (Felix Albarran) of Webster, Florida, Hilario Garcia (Charlene) of Brooksville, Florida, Fernando Garcia (Flor Martinez) of Dade City, Florida; grandchildren: Joshua, Lizandra, Brizeida, Elizabeth, Andres, Ivan, Madali, Fernando Jr., Giovanny, Jonathan, Erick, Marcos, and Ofelia; brothers: Tomas, and Ignacio; sisters: Teresa, Santos, Rosa, Juana, Natalia, Angela, and Vicenta. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hilarion Garcia, her parents, Severiano Vera and Ninfa Cesmas, and her children, Reynaldo Garcia, and baby girl, Garcia. may be sent to the family at www.purcellfuneralhome.com.
