Aunt Sue was a wonderful person and an inspiration for Family and Friend as well. She never forgot anyone. She always made it a point to send you a card on your birthday or check in on you when you were sick. She was always great to all of us when we were kids. Always a pleasure to see and talk to. She will be greatly missed by all of us! We love you and will see you again someday on the other side.

Lydia's recollection of Sue's scratchy voice confirmed for me that she was my softball coach back in 1959. She and John guided our thirteen year olds and teenagers so successfully we won the New England Softball CYO championship. She and John lived on Main Street near the corner of North Avenue; I went to St Patrick's school where Paula Gatto and I joined the team. Okay, so we had some ringers from Good Counsel, but that was how the game was played. (My grandfather was a ringer for Niagara University, Rocky Farrell.) But then high school came along and that was the end of my career in right field. I never knew she was a nurse although I do remember her young sons. She was a dynamo and I will reflect upon her good works and competitive spirit and add prayers for her and her family. Thank you Lydia for your on target description.

Sue was a wonderful person. She was best friends with my mom Emma. Sue took care off my mom when she was ill. Just a beautiful person. Rest in peace Susie Q. The Calovine family.

Aunt Sue was quite a women. I first met her when I was a teenager & was & going out with her nephew. Later when we were married & I was in the hospital having our baby she made time to come & check in our son. It was here vacation time but she made it her business to check on us & that I would have formula for our son. She was a nice dresser & I remember her black hair & her deep scratchy voice. It's quite a feat to be a nurse for 60 years. She will be missed. But, she did lived a long colorful life. Jesus got himself quite an awesome Angel! I'm sure she will be helping out up in Heaven too!

May her soul/spirit rest with our Holy father.
I only had the honor of meeting her once, I wish I knew her better.
To her family, I´m so sorry for your loss and nothing I can say will make a difference. Just know, a person with her background, and with that much love in her heart, lived with our lord by her side every minute of every day.
Where she lives now, is in his arms...
RIP,
