Sofia Soliz Obituary
Throughout her life she was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister and Aunt.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco Soliz and Sofia Anaya; son, Enrique Mansano; sisters, Esavel Morin, and Julia Cardona; brothers, Guadalupe Soliz, Mark Soliz, Ray Cardona; and brother in laws, Jose Carmen Toledo, Gary Medrono, and Arnulfo Morin.
Sofia is survived by her children Yvonne (Nestor) Perez, Ambrosio (Gen) Garcia, Marcos Villegas, Francisco (Ashley) Barcenas, Juan Soliz, Oscar Macias Soliz, Rene Macias (Jennifer Snyder); grandchildren, James Mejia, Marissa Barcenas, Mariah Barcenas, Ellianna Barcenas, Jalien Delossantos, John McDonald, Kristina Garcia, Ambrosio Garcia Jr, Zaidyn Garcia; great-grandchildren, Mark Aguilar, John McDonald Jr, Francisco McDonald, Amelia Garcia-Phillips, River Garcia-Phillips, Benicio Garcia-Phillips, Jesus Garcia. Sofia is also survived by her brothers, Santos (Joann) Cardona, Arnulfo Cardona, Fabian (Rachel) Soliz, Francisco (Anne) Soliz, Jessie Rodriguez; sisters, Clara (Frank) Nieto, Tina Pacheco, Olga Medrano, Sylvia Pineda, Maria Toledo; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m. On Sunday, October 26, 2025 at the Rhodes Funeral Home in Karnes City. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. also at the Funeral Chapel.
