Soledad Vale Cruz "Sally" Dunn

oledad "Sally" Valecruz Dunn was born to Francisco Valecruz and Elena Malinis in the beginning of World War 2 on November 9, 1941 in Cavite City, Philippine Islands. She had 10 siblings who were born between 1933 and 1950. The whole family moved to Olongapo City in 1953 when her father was employed by the U.S. Naval Base Subic Bay.

Sally graduated high school in the Olongapo City High School. After high school, she started working on base where she met her late husband and retired Navy chief, Jerry Dunn. Upon transfer to San Diego, they moved in their new Mira Mesa home in 1976.

Sally was able to get a job right away and pursued her college education. She earned her bachelor's and master's degree in Human Resources in no time. She retired as an HR manager at J&J Company.

Sally is survived by her three sisters and her family pet, "Chipper". She will be greatly missed by all her friends and relatives here and abroad.
