Sondra Englund, 52 of Elbow Lake, died Monday, January 29, 2024, at the Evansville Care Center. 

Sondra Susan (Brown) Englund was born on December 22, 1971, to Randy and Nancy (Brehmer) Brown in Elbow Lake, Minnesota

Sondra lived most of her life in and around Elbow Lake. She graduated from West Central High School in 1990. She was a proud cheerleader for the West Central Wildcats. She went on to further her education and graduated from Fergus Falls Community College as a Medical Lab Technician. 

Sondra worked in the medical and human service fields. She loved working with people, and they responded to her beautiful soul and beautiful smile. 

She loved to dance and even taught several Zumba classes. She also enjoyed playing poker and cherished the time spent with friends and family, especially family.

Sondra’s greatest accomplishment and joy was being a mom to her three children, Amanda, Madison, and Logan.

Sondra is survived by her three children, Amanda, Madison, and Logan all of Alexandria; mother Nancy Brown of Elbow Lake; sister and family Carie Hanson, husband Kevin and their children Tyler, Erin and Jessie of Adams, Minnesota; grandmother JoAnn Brehmer of Ashby, Minnesota; along with numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Sondra was preceded in death by her dad Randy; maternal grandfather Willis; paternal grandparents Ronald & Jeanette Brown, and uncle Rick Brown.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 PM Saturday, March 9, 2024, at the Erickson-Smith Funeral Home in Elbow Lake with a Memorial Service at 3:00 PM.
