Funeral services for Sonia “Sunny” (Guk) Snyder, 87, of Mentor, will be at 7 PM Friday, January 9, 2025 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby. Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Sunny passed away January 5, 2026 in Mayfield Heights. She was born January 23, 1938 in Cleveland.
Sunny retired from Sams Club after 19 years. She enjoyed being a homemaker, loved being with her family and truly loved nature and all of God’s creatures.
Survivors include her children, Frederick (Mary Ellen) Baughman, Kim Summerville, and Barb Baughman; grandchildren, Jillian (Jeff) Klemm, Bethany (Cameron) Vanderhorst, Emily Summerville; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Hailee, Silas, Juniper, Jonah, and Olivia; brother, Larry Guk; she leaves behind many nieces and nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Sue (Palmer) Guk; brothers, Leonard and Eugene Guk; and grandson, Joshua Baughman.
Graveside service 10 AM Saturday, January 10, 2025 at Mentor Cemetery (Section 32), 6881 Hopkins Rd., Mentor. Please meet at the grave.
