Sonia Smith Obituary
Services for Sonia Smith, 90, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 23, 2024 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel with Reverend Neal Oliver officiating. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Friday, March 22, 2024 at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers are Jerry Smith, Larry Smith, Melvin Smith, Clinton Carr, Christopher Carr, and Cody Preston.
Sonia passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024 in Cleburne. She was born November 4, 1933 in Cleburne to John Wilson and Minnie A. (Dennis) Henson. Sonia was a member of Henderson Street Baptist Church. She married Pennie Smith on June 14, 1959 in Cleburne. Sonia was preceded in death by her husband, Pennie Smith in 1990; and sisters, Dorothy Leonard, and Nelda Warren.
She is survived by her brother, Jimmy Henson of Cleburne.
