Surviving are her sons, Rick (Deb) Reed, Randy (Rhonda) Reed and Roger (Vicki) Reed. Grandchildren, Renee (Steve) Reed, Rachael (Chad) Haney, Ryan (Jenna) Reed, Matt (Chelsie) Reed, Beth (Robert) Johnson, Brent Reed and Jennifer Reed. 21 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Step grandchildren, Stephanie (Justin) Kiefer, Tiffany (Chris) Ryan, Will (Kelsey), Beedy, Heather (Darrin) Hosfeld and Holly Clark. 18 step-great grandchildren. Sisters, Sue Soloman and Mary Helmer. 3 nieces and 2 nephews.
Sonja was preceded in death by her parents, 1 step-great grandson and 1 niece.
Funeral Services will be at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia on Tuesday at Noon with Pastor John Prominiski officiating. Interment Easton Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Ionia Commission on Aging or the Humane Society.
