Sonya Dodd Obituary
Sonya Ann Russell Dodd, age 56 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a Realtor with Realty Executives and worked with the Blount County Community Fund. Sonya attended Foothills Church. She loved kayaking, hiking, stained glass, travel, the ocean, and the mountains. Preceded in death by: grandparents, Louise & Fred Russell and Bert & Bonnie Cordle. Survivors include: husband, Jimmy Dodd; daughter, Morgan Dodd; parents, Johnny & Patricia Russell; brother, John Russell (Donia); niece, Hunter Russell; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins and countless friends. Memorial donations may be made to: Smoky Mountain Service Dogs, 8380 Fairview Road, Lenoir City, TN 37772 in Sonya’s Memory. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM, Monday, November 25, 2024 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM with Lisa McCurry officiating.
