Pastor Soowon Chang (née Kim) of Buffalo, entered into rest on November 1, 2025. Devoted mother of Julia Ahlet, Eugene Chang, and Esther (Matthew) Rusnac; cherished grandmother of Asher Ahlet, Avery Ahlet, Johann Rusnac, and Augustine Rusnac; loving daughter of the late Boksik and Bongsoo Kim. Soowon dedicated her life to serving Christ and others. As a faithful pastor and prayer warrior, she touched countless lives with her compassion, wisdom, and steadfast faith. Her love for God and her family was evident in all she did, and her legacy of grace and devotion will live on in those she nurtured and inspired.
No prior visitation. A Funeral Service will be held at NorthGate Church, Harris Hill Campus, 5225 Harris Hill Rd., Clarence on Saturday (November 8) at 11 AM. Interment at Elmlawn Cemetery.
