Where do I begin? Sophia was a very long time friend of mine for many years. We met when our sons were friends in the elementary grades. She was not only my good friend but my Manicurist and the best one around. We shared stories about our boys and husbands, as there were many. I took small road trips with her whether to the Malls or beaches as we did nothing but laugh. My son always said, "Sophia is the nicest lady I know mom, she sticks up for me all the time and calls me her goofball buddy." Sophia, as I told you many times, your the strongest person I know as you faced your death with such grace. I will miss our talks and the close friendship we had. Give my son and husband a tight hug for me . Until we meet again, I´ll see you on the other side. Love you girl. Janet

I am a stranger who has never met your family. I am at an age (71) who starts each morning reading the obituarties. I came across Sophie . Her photo captured my attention. Her smile so warm and inviting. I have lost many loved ones in my life . This obituary warmed me like no other to date. I wanted to share my feelings with your family on how your words have touched me to my core. Embrace the fact your love for each other will make the time before you all meet again -bearable. Thank You for sharing . Irene

Although I never met Sophia, I wish I had. I heard about her from her Dad, Ahmed and her good friend, Darlene. From what I've heard she was an angel on earth. This obituary was so well written and personal, I feel I know her a little better now. To quote your Dad, "you weren't born here but you got here as fast as you could". Comgratulations on earning your wings and rest in peace.
