SOPHIA SARSOZA passed away on August 24, 2023. Beloved daughter of Phinh Xu Ngo and Jason Sarsoza; loving sister of Sebastian Sarsoza. Sophia is also survived by grandparents Yong Korng Ngo and Chheng Quach; aunts Ly xu and Jenn; uncles Steven, Tat Chi, and Chee; cousins Elina, Alexandre, Chloe, and Carmelo. Sophia was very caring, thoughtful, and considerate, always looking to comfort others even from a very early age. As a toddler she was given the name Mama Sophia by the daycare as she was genuinely concerned for her classmates when they were upset; she comforted them and fed them when they had no appetite. She loved her school Springside Chestnut Hill Academy and the friendships she made. She let her imagination run by immersing herself in the stories and adventures of wild animals having an affection for owls, wolves, and bears. She had a passion for music, practicing constantly until satisfied with the piece and filling our home with the sweet notes from her piano or viola. We will miss her beautiful smile, her laugh, and the pure kindness and warmth of her personality.
Relatives and friends are invited, Wednesday, August 30, 2023, to a Viewing starting at 4 PM and Service starting at 5 PM at Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Raphael-Sacks, 6410 N. Broad Street, Phila., PA. Interment is private.

My heart is broken to read of Sophia´s passing. I met you at CHOP and we shared prayer and hope.
I carry your gifts of holy water and the Immaculate Heart medal with me everyday.
I´ve been praying for Sophia and you and asking others to as well.
I will continue to pray daily.
May Sophia´s memory serve as a blessing to us all.
Love and Prayers,
