With hearts full of love and sorrow, we share the passing of our precious baby boy, Spencer William Ownby, who was born into the arms of angels on September 15, 2025, at Odessa Regional Medical Center in Odessa, Texas. Though his time on earth was brief, Spencer's presence brought an abundance of love that will forever live in the hearts of his family. Spencer was born to William Byron Ownby and Courtney Breann (Debusk) Ownby, who will always cherish the gift of his life. He will be remembered as a beautiful child of God, perfect and pure, who touched his family deeply in his short time here. He is survived by his loving parents, William and Courtney; his siblings, Braxton Medlock and Paisley Ownby; his paternal grandparents, Mark and Faith Ownby; his paternal uncle, Luke Ownby (Tarah), paternal great grandparents: EmmaDel Broussard and Alton Broussard, as well as Gillette Ownby, and Yvonne Ownby; his maternal grandmother, Kim Hinton, and maternal grandfather, Chris Debusk; maternal great grandparents, Linda Bullard, Rusty Welch, Cress DeBusk and Janis DeBusk; his maternal aunt, Haleigh Crumpton (Jacob); and his cousins, Jordyn Crumpton, Baleigh DeBusk, and Colton Crumpton. Spencer's life reminds us of the words of Psalm 139: "I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." Though his days were not long, his spirit was full, and his family finds comfort knowing he rests peacefully in the arms of Jesus. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, 2:00 PM at American Heritage Funeral Home.
