Spiro A. Giotis, age 69, fell asleep in the Lord October 10, 2025. Loving father of Kristina Giotis, Rebecca (Troy) Potter, and Michael Giotis. Loving grandfather of McKenna, Jackson, and Mason. Treasured brother of Maria Simos, Aristoula Tsilikos, the late Sophia Dalapas, and stepsister Miranda Zacharakis. Beloved uncle, godfather, and cousin. Devoted son of the late Anastasios and Eleni Giotis and stepson of the late Stella Giotis.
Spiro was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and boating. He was active in the ice skating community and served on various volunteer boards. Spiro will be remembered by all for his quick wit, his willingness to always lend a helping hand, and his amazing Christmas displays.
Visitation Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until noon at Davenport Family Funeral Home 941 S. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich, IL 60047. Trisagion service and Air Force Honors at 11:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
