Stacey Moench

Stacey Lynn Moench, 47, of Staples, MN passed away at the CentraCare - St. Cloud Hospital, St. Cloud, MN.

Stacey was born on Sept. 16, 1977, in Coon Rapids, MN, the daughter of Lee and Jayne (Cory) Moench.

She attended school in Staples and later finished her education in Brainerd, MN. When Stacey was 15 she was involved in a tragic accident, where a tree had fallen on her and left her paralyzed. In her recovery and with sheer determination she faced life head-on with grace and dignity, she never let her disability get her down. 

Stacey had a great sense of humor and with that came a love of comedy. When Stacey was able, she loved spending time at her uncles farm, feeding the calves and helping with the chores. She had a special love of animals and loved riding horse! She will be sadly missed!

Stacey leaves behind her Fiancé, Daniel Younkin; Mother, Jayne, and her husband Dennis Hanson; Father, Lee and his wife, Anita Moench; sisters, Lauralee Moench, Lisa (Randy) Millis and Angie Bujarski. She is further survived by her special niece, Natasha Larson, as well as other nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and friends.

Stacey was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Services for Stacey will be at held on Monday February 17, 2025, at 11:00am at Motley Free Methodist Church in Motley.
