Russon Brothers - Farmington/KaysvilleStaci Lee Young Morgan, a devoted mother, wife, daughter, and sister, passed away peacefully on December 1st, 2025, at the age of 53 after a courageous year-and-a-half battle with cancer.
Staci is survived by her parents, Gregory and Connie Young; her husband, Darren; her children, Max (Meg), Katelyn (Bryson), Zac, and James; her sisters, Steffanie Hicks (Randy), and Alexi Robinson (Lee); her brother, Michal Young (Millicent); her parents-in-law, Bonnie and Harvey Morgan; her brother-in-law, Lance Morgan (Katie); and many nieces and nephews.
Staci was born on April 28, 1972, in Ogden, Utah to loving parents. Later, on March 19, 1994, she married Darren Morgan, her high school sweetheart, in the Logan Temple, beginning a life together centered on faith, family, and love.
She graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Communications and Human Resources, later serving as Assistant Director of Human Resources at St. Mark’s Hospital. After her time in her profession, she dedicated the rest of her life to what mattered most to her—raising her four children and supporting her family in all that they pursued. She also faithfully served in multiple church callings throughout her life.
Staci loved to read and had an adventurous spirit. She found joy in anything her family enjoyed, whether cheering at sporting events, spending time outdoors, or traveling together. Her greatest happiness came from being with her children and creating a home full of love, laughter, and safety.
Staci was a light in the lives of all who knew her. She was patient, loving, and deeply faithful. She had a gift for bringing peace into every situation and for offering quiet strength to those who needed it most. She never complained, even in her hardest trials, choosing instead to lift others through her optimism, compassion, and unwavering empathy. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to bless her family and friends forever.
A viewing will be held on Friday, December 5th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Russon Mortuary & Crematory, 1941 N Main Street, Farmington, UT 84025.
