Staci Marie Slippey

Staci Marie Slippey, age 47, of Grants Pass, died January 8, 2023 at her home.
Staci was born July 23, 1975 in Ukiah, California. After growing up in Ukiah, she moved to Idaho as a young adult before eventually settling in Oregon. In 2021 she moved from Cave Junction to Grants Pass.
Staci loved hard, especially her family. She always dressed up and decorated for every holiday. She loved bright colors and her favorite saying was 'I love you to the moon and back." She was an amazing mother to her three sons who were her absolute heart and soul. She was over the moon excited to welcome her two grandsons. She loved drawing, writing poetry, watching movies with her mom, including Christmas movies year-round. She also loved caring for her beloved dog Nakita.
In 2006 Staci began dialysis and fought for 16 years and during those years had countless surgeries. She was a fighter and never let anything get her down. She took anything life threw at her with grace.
Survivors include three sons Anthony Stephens of Ukiah, California, Isaac Stephens and Brandon Slippey both of Roseburg, Oregon; grandsons Bryson Stephens and Aiden Stephens; mother Rose Marie Bright of Grants Pass; sister Tonia Lazenby of Cave Junction; brother Robert Stephens of Grants Pass; four nephews; and three nieces.
She was preceded in death by her father George Carl Stephens; nephew David Lazenby; and two uncles George Bossom and Charles Thurman.
She will be very missed and always remembered.
