THE BEGINNING: In the beginning.... Genesis 1:1
Stacy Marie Bellazin, was born on September 9, 1969 to the late Joseph Saizon and Catherine Bellazin in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
PATH OF FAITH: Be thou faithful until death.... Revelation 2:10
Stacy's spiritual journey was deeply rooted in St. Augustine Catholic Church, where she received the sacraments of Christening, First Communion, and Confirmation as she remained a devoted member throughout her life.
EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT: Study to shew thyself approved.... II Timothy 2:15
Stacy, a passionate educator and 1987 graduate of Rosenwald High School, pursued a career in Early Childhood Education. She obtained her degree from the University of Phoenix and begin her teaching career with the Pointe Coupee Head Start Program. She continued to work with children in the Pointe Coupee Parish School System until her illness.
THE JOURNEY ENDS: For I am now ready to be offered and the time of my departure is at hand. II Timothy 4:6
On Thursday, July 4, 2024, Stacy answered the call from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to "Move on up a little higher," but not without leaving a strong legacy.
THE LEGACY LIVES ON: A good man/woman leaves an inheritance to his children's children....Proverbs 13:22
Stacy leaves to tresure and cherish her memory: two sons, Keithen and Ke'Vante Bellazin, both of New Roads, LA; two brothers, Lionel Bellazin, Sr. of Fort Worth, Texas and Thaddeus Joseph of New Roads, LA.; two sisters, Monica Bellazin (Bill) and Lawanda Bellazin both of New Roads, LA; eight grandchildren, Keithen Albert, Xavion Dominick, Kade Armstead, Kelea Jackson, Kadeen Rayford, Keelan Rayford, Kari Dean, and Kazi Jones.; two godchildren, Dondriana Marks and DaVarius Hurst; three uncles, Tyrone Brue of San Francisco, California, James Bellazin and Paul Bellazin both of New Roads, La; three aunts, Matilda Rodney (Mark), Glenda Leonard (Nathan) both of New Roads, LA and Veronica Franklin of Baton Rouge, LA; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by, her parents, Joseph Saizon and Catherine Bellazin, maternal and paternal Grandparents as well as other family members. She truly will be missed by all who knew her.
