SOUTH WHITLEY - Stacy E. Blair, 53, of rural South Whitley, Indiana, passed away in the company of family at 9:34 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 21, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
Born on Sept. 27, 1972, in Tulare County, California, he was a son of Jacob C. and Edna (Newboles) Blair.
Growing up in Porterville, California, he graduated from Porterville High School in 1990. Continuing his education, he earned an associate's degree in fine arts from Porterville College.
Beginning his work career in the retail industry, he worked in California, until 2003, when he moved to Garden City, Kansas. He worked for the local Sears store until 2006, when he moved to Columbia City, where he met and married Anne E. Cochran. The couple made their home in Columbia City. Stacy worked for the local Walmart store. In 2016, they moved to rural South Whitley.
A movie buff, Stacy collected over 3,000 DVDs, most of them horror movies. He liked riding his Honda VTX motorcycle, watching the Bears' football, and watching the New York Yankees' baseball. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting deer and bears. Halloween was his favorite holiday, and he participated fully. He held a special place in his heart for his beagle, Memphis.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Anne; children, Whitney (Jordan) Rowe, of Warsaw and Austin (Kenzie Eaton) Seban, of North Manchester; grandchildren, Wrenley "Poot" and Paisley "Squirt"; his mother, Edna Blair, of Porterville, California; brothers, Bob Blair and Charles (Chris) Blair, of Lindsay, California, and a sister, Stephanie Blair of Porterville, California.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jacob C. Blair.
Stacy desired to have no services.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are in the care of Smith & Sons Miller Chapel, South Whitley.
