Mrs. Stacy Elaine Hurd, age 59 of Dallas, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025. She was born July 31, 1966 in Spartanburg, South Carolina, daughter of the late Ralph Waldrop and the late Judith Elaine Carson Waldrop.
She was a sales representative for Verizon for over 15 years and was of the Christian faith. Stacy will be remembered for her unwavering dependability and her gift of offering good advice when needed. She loved spending time with family, especially during her favorite holiday of Christmas, in which she had a flair for wrapping gifts. Her favorite color, purple, reflected her vibrant personality and her love of laughter. Stacy was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021. After multiple surgeries and tough treatments she beat it, and had been cancer free for almost 5 years.
Stacy loved classic rock, often dancing to the rhythms. She enjoyed nature, especially visiting the Cherokee Mountains and Edisto Island, and had a great love for animals.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jessica Earwood; and a sister, Amy Waldrop.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Hurd; three daughters, Kasia Waldrop, Luvy (Justin) Hughes and Nikki Collins; a son, Roland Mac Waldrop and his fiancée, Loretta, Jones; sister, Robin Waldrop; brother, David Waldrop; and 13 grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Adrian, Ashtin, Morgan, Caden, Gavin, Kaden, Alexis, Jordan, Brendon, Elijah, Tony, Luke and Shaya. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM in the Sam Clark Chapel with Pastor Keith Graham officiating.
