The obituary Is a great summary of Stan's life. I came to know Stan in the early 1980's. We were both recently married dads with small kids. Raised them together as neighbors. Together enjoyed basketball, softball, co-ed softball, golf, church, etc. (I think we even went camping) Later Cooper's moved to California and we visited them there. Then when returning to Layton we were neighbors again. Stan, along with a few others were concerned about me when my wife passed in 1995. He made sure I was OK with many visits, talks and invitations to golf. (We were too old for the other sports we had done earlier.)
Jylaire and York and the Magnificent 7 remember always that you have a great dad and grandpa.
Thankful for the resurrection when Stan will be blessed with his perfected body and mind. I know we will see him again and am thankful for that assurance from our Savior.

Stan had a tremendous way about him -- that way of letting you know he was genuinely interested in your life, with always good words to say. He was so well liked/loved by everyone. And that smile, that says it all! I am so glad my life crossed paths with his. xo
