Stanislaw "Stan" Urban

Stanislaw "Stan" Urban, born April 29, 1956, was called to his eternal rest on December 25, 2025.
Stan lived life with a free spirit and a heart full of generosity. A proud Polish American, he left Poland as a young adult and chose the Boston area as his adopted and cherished home. He was a hard worker who understood the value of dedication, honesty, and helping others without hesitation. His strength was evident in his actions, his kindness in his presence, and his joy in living life on his own terms.
Stan will be remembered for his warmth, his heart of gold, his passion as a devoted pigeon fancier and racer, and for the love he so freely shared with those around him.
He is survived by his sisters, brothers-in-law, niece, nephews, great-nephews, and extended family in the United States and Poland.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Memorial Mass in his honor at Our Lady of Czestochowa Catholic Church, South Boston, on Tuesday, January 13, at 1:00 PM. Private family interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stan's memory to Our Lady of Czestochowa Catholic Church in South Boston.
