Stanley E. Berman passed away peacefully at home on 1/26/2024. He was the third child of Helen Abrams and Benjamin Berman. Stan loved his late sister Harriet and brother Howard, affectionately known as "Chubby" and Howard's dear wife "Lady". Stanley married Joan Weinberg in 1953, having two children, Susan Berman and the late David Berman. Stan served in the US Navy from 1951 through 1955, where he proudly worked on a tugboat and he loved it. He loved the military.Stan married Evelyn Tucker Cisna in October 1984, where he took on the responsibility of step-father to both Leslie and Joseph. He was a wonderful example to both. He worked in the Flooring and Finishes business for most of his professional career, over 40 years. Stan and Evelyn opened the Marlboro Decorating in 1991, which is still thriving today. He enjoyed meeting up with friends Lenny, Mike and more on Fridays at the Laurel Race Track to watch the races.  Stan is survived by his wife Evelyn, his daughter Susan, Leslie McQuade (Michael) and Joseph Cisna (Andrea), with grandchildren Lillian and Benjamin Cisna and Maggie and Maryn McQuade. He also loved his Dixie Dog and grand-doggie Crouton, who may have spent the most time with him (they miss their favorite treat man).  Family and friends will be celebrating Stan with an open house on Friday February 16th at Laurel Race Track, in the Ruffian Room from 4:00 to 8:00pm.
