Stanley Joseph Bill

Turlock High School Class of 1974. We were so blessed to have had the opportunity to spend time and memories with you at the THS reunion in Oct of 2018. You are missed.

I had known Stan and all the Bill family since the early 1960s when many of us in the neighborhood rode Shetland ponies together. Those times are one of the fondest memories of my childhood. Stan and I recently visited at our THS class reunion in October and reminisced about how he bought me a little going steady ring at sprouse reitz in Turlock when we were in 3rd or 4th grade. We laughed heartily together remembering our mutual first crush! Its hard to imagine him being gone so soon and so suddenly! To the entire family, I pray that you will know Gods embrace of love and comfort during this sad time. Stan will be forever loved and cherished by all who knew him! Stan was a close friend of mine in high school and we spent a lot of time together. Unfortunately we didn't keep in contact and the years flew by. I remember being at the Bill household and his dad would turn off the hot water to get him out of the shower. I always thought that was a great motivator. We had some good times watching motorcycle races at Laguna Seca Raceway, skiing at Dodge Ridge and barely making it back in time for the last mass on Sunday. We spent an amazing time in Steamboat Springs for a full winter in 1974-1975. We spent the whole summer before rebuilding a van his dad got from the wrecking yard. We added all the important stuff like a refrigerator and speakers. A lot of speakers! It almost made it to Steamboat before it broke down! A short break in our travels. My high school memories always had Stan in them. He was always an easy person to get along with. My sincerest condolences to his family. Stan will be missed by all who knew him.

Stan was the brother of my good friend Katie and I spent alot of time at the Bill house. Which meant that you had to experience the never ending fun filled harrassment of Stan. But it was in fun and good times and good memories.

Stan and I attended Turlock schools together. Last month, THS Class of 1974, celebrated their 44th class reunion and Stan was one of the, 190 plus, classmates that attended the reunion. I am so grateful and blessed that I had the opportunity to reconnect with Stan that evening. You will truly be missed.

It's hard to understand why people are taken from us, but find comfort in knowing he was a special part of such a well-lived life. Stan will be missed and When the lord called him home, he left a gift of memories in exchange.

I remember Stanley very well. We started off together in the first grade at Secret Heart School in Turlock and was in Turlock High School where we had some of the same classes.

I meet Stan many years ago at Turlock's Friday night shoots he immediately welcomed me as he does all, he was dedicated and committed to anything he did and would go above and beyond with all he was responsible for more so the range, we worked together scheduling league shoots and was always very accommodating. We lost a good honest man that supported shotgun sports to the fullest. our hearts goes out to the Bill family, TSC will not be the same without you. RIP my friend you will always be remembered
