Stanley A. Christopherson

Stanley A. Christopherson, 71, of Hartford, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 14, 2012. Stanley is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Joyce Christopherson (nee Schellin), brothers Donald (Pauline) Christopherson and Larry Christopherson (special friend Susan Belanger), daughter Cheryl (Jonathan) Radtke, son Todd (Annette) Christopherson and daughter Wendy (John) Skavlem. Proud grandfather of Olivia, Alexa, Rhea, Carly, Tessa, John and Jane. Also survived by many other relatives and friends. Stanley is preceded in death by his parents William (Gordon) and Irene Christopherson. Stanley graduated from Oconomowoc High School in 1959. He was a carpenter for 43 years and then retired from First Bank Financial Centre in Oconomowoc as a courier. He was a member of Ashippun Lions Club for many years. Stanley enjoyed bird and deer watching, hunting, fishing, golfing, playing cards and talking about his grandchildren. He also enjoyed going for breakfast at the Erin Motel & Restaurant and Trackside in Ashippun. Stanley liked going for long rides in the country and spending time with his family and friends. Funeral service for Stanley will take place at St. Olaf Lutheran Church W653 Roosevelt Road, Rubicon, on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 6:00 PM. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 3:00 PM until the time of the service. Burial will take place at St. Olaf Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Olaf Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice.
