I want to extend my condolences to you, your family and staff on Stanley’s passing away. He will be missed by all as he was quite “the character”.
I would like to share a story which I believe is illustrative of Stanley’s desire to do good things.
My younger daughter Molly loves cars and when she was 10 or so I thought I would borrow a friend’s Jeep (her favorite car) and for her birthday take the top off and drive around Connecticut. I did that and she had a ball. The next year I said to myself “What are you going to do this year for Molly’s birthday?” I called up a friend and asked if he would give her a ride in his Corvette and he said no but that I would have to borrow the car and drive her myself. I did that and Molly was thrilled. The next year I said to myself “How are you going to beat the Corvette?”. Of course, I thought of Stanley. So I called Stanley and explained the situation and asked if he would be willing to give Molly a ride in one of his cars. WITHOUT HESITATION, Stanley said “Rosenberg, tell me what day, what time and where I can pick her up and I will be there.” I asked him to be at my house on a Sunday at 10:00 am and he was there at 9:59. He took Molly for a ride and it was perhaps the best birthday gift Molly has received – even to this day. It was all due to Stanley’s wish to “do good”. For that my family will be grateful to Stanley forever.
I will miss him. He was one of a kind. They don’t make guys like him anymore.

My deepest condolences to the Cohen family. I was Stanley´s sheriff and friend for 45 years. We had many humorous instances of attempting to serve legal process. I´ll always remember our annual trip to New York City for the automobile show. Stanley, I will truly miss you. God bless.

Please accept my sincere condolences for you and your whole family. I had to search over 1,000 emails with your dad over 5 years believe it or not to find this one, which is one of my favorites. My 3rd grader was asked to make a list of the "10 most important people in your life".. I also remember months later asking my son, in a conversation , "what do you want to do when you get older?" His response was "What does Mr. Cohen do?"
