I just learned of Stan´s passing today from my daughter. He was such a kind and caring man and a great example for both young and old of how to have a life well lived. My deepest condolences to the family. May God continue to surround your family with His love and grace.

Mr Crippen was an amazing teacher to me! I remember when I was a junior at EUHS, we did a reenactment of the Nuremburg trials, of course in clothes of the era and I was the head prosecuting attorney. This opened up a dialog with my Father, who I found out personally attended all the trials, as my Dad was an artist and one of the ones the US army had chosen to do sketches of the whole trial. Not only was Mr Crippen instrumental in awakening my interest in US History but building a generational bridge with my Dad, which proved to be life long. I remember days I would come to class and be happy to speak with him about history and life. He will be greatly missed, but he will always be kept as a wonderful memory for me. Rest in Peace you Lovely Man. Blessings to his family, Erin James (nee Sheppard)
