Stanley Curtis Obituary
Stanley Wayne Curtis 80, of Springville Utah passed away Saturday, November 11, 2023. He was born in Longview, Washington, to Herbert and Marjorie Curtis.
He married Debbie Giles on November 24, 1992. He was a great man, loving husband, caring father, and compassionate friend.
Stan was active in Springville Rotary where he supported many of the clubs activities enjoying his Rotary brothers. He enjoyed golf, traveling, fishing, his time in Mesquite and South Fork cabin with family and friends. He worked at Longview Fibre in Washington, moving to Utah as plant manager to open the Spanish Fork plant. He retired from Longview after over 50 years of dedicated service.
He is survived by his wife Debbie Curtis, 3 children son Brian (Renee) Curtis, California, daughter Pam (Don) Torgerson, Washington, Kevin Curtis, Arizona. Grandson Kyle Torgerson. Granddaughters Meghan and Marissa. Great granddaughter Fiora. He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2023, from 6-8 pm at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South, Springville and Monday, November 20th from 9:30-10:30 am. A Celebration of life will be on Monday, November 20 at 11:00 am, also at Wheeler Mortuary. Interment will be at the Mapleton Cemetery, 620 Maple Street following the services.
