"DUTKO – Stanley John., 81, of Beulaville, formerly of Gallitzin, Pennsylvania, passed away June 16, 2025, at home after a 10 year battle with cancer. Born January 26, 1944, in Hilo, Hawaii, son of John Lewis and Lillian Adelina (Balai) Dutko. Preceded in death by parents; sisters; Barbara Speranza, Leilani Sharp, and Marilyn Dea.
Survived by loving wife, Ann (Long) Dutko, Mother in-law Mary Long, of Wesley Chapel, PA and brother Monte C. Dutko, married to Audrey (Wineland) Dutko of Ashville, PA. Children- Stanley J. Dutko Jr, married to Francye (Floyd) Dutko of Coinjock, NC, Karen Myers (Dutko) married to Paul (PJ) Myers of Galitzin, PA, Debbie (Dutko) Castle married to Todd Castle of Hollidaysburg, PA. Step children Heather Sewalish married Don Sewalish of Bakerton, PA, Jay Musselman Jr. and partner McKenzi Black of Claysburg, PA. Grand children; Cody and Tristyn Dutko, Austin and Tate Dugger, Ava and Spencer Myers, and Jayden Walter. Great-Grandchildren; Adam, Wyatt and Emma Dugger.
Stan was deployed as a Jet engine mechanic during the Vietnam War from May of 1962- May of 1966, and then served in the reserve from May of 1966 to 1968. After his deployment he began a position at H&H Tire and Automotive in Altoona, PA for 18 years and worked for the Pennsylvania State Department of Corrections in Cresson, PA where he was a Automotive repair instructor for 23 years. After his retirement, he moved down south in 2008 to Beulaville, NC. In his free time he loved working to restore older cars, mowing grass, and spending time outdoors.
At this time the family has not made any arrangements but will have a service in Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers or memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society or local VA hospital."
