Stanley R. Egli, 67, of Metamora, IL, passed away at 9:26 am on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at his home.

He was born on February 2, 1958, in Peoria, IL, to Ben G. and Shirley A. (Hahn) Egli. He married Yolanda A. "Lonnie" Grotti on July 12, 1980 in Metamora.

Surviving is his wife, Lonnie of Metamora; daughter, Brandi Egli of Metamora; granddaughter, Audrina; mother, Shirley Egli of Metamora; sisters, Mary (Craig) Oakman of Washington, IL and Donna (Edward) Schmillen of Rutland, IL; sisters-in-law, Vonda (Lee) Bears of Toluca, IL and April (Steve) Wagner of Roanoke, IL; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.

Stan worked as a quality control engineer for Komatsu America in Peoria, IL until his retirement.

Stan was an avid fisherman. He and Lonnie enjoyed their property in Chetek, WI and all of their friends there. He was a college basketball enthusiast (Go Braves!). He faithfully visited his mother every Tuesday and Thursday and loved watching Westerns with her. He loved his wife and daughter dearly and was always there for his family. He was a caretaker through and through. He will be greatly missed by all who touched his life.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to a charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences at www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
