Stanley Edward Erickson

Stanley Erickson, age 77, of Wheaton, Minnesota passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Sanford Hospital in Wheaton, Minnesota.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 21, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Covenant Church in Wheaton, Minnesota with Pastor Tim Shekleton officiating. Pianist will be Cheryl Shekleton. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the church.

Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Wheaton. Pallbearers will be Matthew Swenson, Sara Bird, Jennifer Morken, Russell Morken, Troy Morken, Kent Whaley and Mitch Whaley.  

Stanley Edward Erickson was born August 9, 1947 in Breckenridge, Minnesota to Sanford and Irma Erickson. Stan graduated from Wheaton High School. He furthered his education at the Alexandria Area-Vocational Technical School.

Stanley met Sheryl when her parents retired in Wheaton. The couple were married April 30, 1994. They resided in Wheaton and were active at the Bethlehem Covenant Church. Stan enjoyed baseball, especially the Twins and adding to his mug collection. Stan and Sheryl did a lot of traveling, seeing most of the USA via bus or rail.

Stanley is survived by his sister, Shirley Swenson of Bloomington, MN; brother-in-law, Ron Morken; numerous nieces and nephews.

Stanley was preceded in death by his wife, Sheryl; his sister, Sandra Morken; brother-in-law, Robert Swenson; and his parents.
