Stanley Dwight Ferguson of Potosi, Missouri was born on February 20, 1949 in Desloge, Missouri a son to Tony Sherman Ferguson and Goldie(Sedgwick) Ferguson. Stanley departed this life on Thursday, October 6, 2022 having reached the age of 73.
On February 24, 1973, Stanley was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Nace and they shared 49 years together. Stanley enjoyed traveling to Branson and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. He was a big St. Louis Blues Fan. Stanley served in the United States Army from March 5, 1969 to March 4, 1971. He will be greatly missed.
Those who remain to treasure his memory include his wife, Patricia Ferguson; son, Chris Ferguson; daughter, Rebecca Totra and husband Kevin; two grandchildren: Isabella and Joseph Totra; two siblings: Sherman Lewis Ferguson; Leanna Marie Rigdon and husband Thomas. Stanley also leaves behind many dear nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In addition to his father and mother, Stanley was preceded in death by four siblings: Earnestine Ferguson, Francis Geneva Owens, Bonnie Jean Molitor, and Glenda Yvonne Park.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, October 12th,2022 at 11 AM held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Rd, St Louis, MO 63125. Those attending the graveside service should arrive at the cemetery parking lot located behind the office ten minutes prior to the start time. Pastor James Uglum will officiate. In addition, full military honors will be presented by the United States Army.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
